  Load-supporting frame is sturdy doublesteel plate construction for capacities 1/4 ton and over.

  Aluminum frame with fins allows better radiation and permits frequent operations.

  Two brakes:  A pull rotor motor brake and weston mechanical load brake supplied as standard.

  All Harrington ES Series electric hoists meet NEMA 3R specifications.  The duty rating is class H3.  Where NEMA 3S or duty rating class of H4 is required, consult factory. Meets international electric code I.P. 54.

Peerless Chain Hoist

  The grade 80 load chain is made of specially developed case hardened alloy steel. Excellent in durability, the superhigh strength chain complies with ISO specifications.  Nickel Diffused chain is available for use in such applications as rain, sea water, steam, chemical or other harmful atmospheres.

Built-in bearing in bottom book permits easier 360 degree swiveling.

  The hooks are drop-forged from special alloy steel and heat treated for strength and toughness. They are designed to open slowly when overloaded.

  The main body is made of die-cast aluminum.  Compact and light weight, the hoist is superior in maneuverability. Totally enclosed weather resistant construction ideal for use in humid atmosphere.

  Helical gears in oil bath are used for smooth and quiet operation.

  The non-reverse relay circuit protects your hoist from damage due to incorrect connection of the hoist to the power source. If three conductors of the power supply cable are not properly terminated, the motor will not start because the non-reverse relay automatically cuts off the power supply to the motor. In such a case, reverse any two of the three conductors, another feature of the non-reverse relay protects your hoist motor from overheating due to single phase connection of the three conductors.

High performance contactor.
  Allows trouble-free continuous inching and severe frequent operation.  Mechanically interlocked.

  And electric limit-switch mechanism is employed. The hoist is automatically stopped instantly in case of over-lifting and overlowering.

  All electrical devices such as contactors, limit switch and transformer are arranged on a single panel board which allows easier maintenance work.

  Durable push-button pendant. Dual speed type uses double-action low-high speed change-over switch.  Switching mechanism employs trouble-free contacting mechanism.

  Voltage is reduced to 48V, and the push-button switch is in a high-insulation, reinforced plastic case.  The contact-point structure is designed to eliminate problems. “UP” and “DN” buttons are mechanically interlocked for switch operation.

  Standard length of power supply cable is furnished according to specification tables.
